ADJUSTING
Short answer

What bracket should I use to hang a store sign level?

A slotted L-bracket. Screw it to the wall through the slot, rest the sign on the short leg, and slide the bracket until the sign is level before you tighten it. The slot takes up the error, so there is no redrilling when the wall or the first hole is off. BINKIN’s galvanized slotted bracket is made in the USA, takes #8 screws and comes in packs of 8 to 100.

Why a slotted bracket

Level after it is up

Slide nearly 2 inches along the slot until the bubble centres, then lock it.

The same height down the aisle

Set a run of signs or fixtures to one laser line, bracket by bracket.

Resets without patching

For small moves, loosen, slide and tighten again. No new holes in a finished wall.

How a sign goes up

  1. AnchorScrew each bracket to the wall through its slot, snug enough to hold, loose enough to slide. Short leg out, where the sign will sit.
  2. SlideRest the sign on the short legs, put a level on it and slide the low bracket up until it reads true.
  3. LockTighten the slot screws, then fasten through each short leg’s hole into the sign or its frame.

Where it gets used

Light-duty fixtures and signage. How much any small bracket holds depends far more on the screws and what they go into than on the steel; use fasteners suited to the wall, and load-rated hardware for anything heavy or overhead.

Questions people ask

Can I hang signs on drywall with these brackets?

Yes, with fasteners made for drywall, or into studs where you can reach them. How much a bracket holds depends far more on the screws and the wall than on the steel, so for anything heavy use studs or anchors suited to the load. BINKIN does not publish a load rating.

Will the brackets show?

The short leg sits under or behind the sign, so from customer height you see the sign, not the hardware. For fully hidden mounting, see hidden brackets for whiteboards.

Do you sell in bulk to stores and distributors?

Yes. Packs of up to 100 are online, and retailers and distributors can request a line review for wholesale pricing.

Are BINKIN brackets made in the USA?

Yes. BINKIN brackets are made in the USA, from galvanized steel.
