Todd Steliga spent thirty years in visual display products and school furniture. He knows what goes on a wall, what holds it there, and what installers reach for when the thing in the box doesn't quite work.

His son James runs his own installation and remodeling company. One week he was hanging mirrors, kept the leftover clips the way installers do, and later mentioned he'd used one to fix something on his truck. Todd already knew — those clips end up holding a thousand things they were never sold for, and you can't buy them anywhere.

James said, why don't we make these? So they did — a father and son making the part they both kept wishing somebody else already sold.
