What brackets keep a conduit run straight?
Slotted L-brackets set to a line. Snap a chalk line or set a laser, screw each bracket through its slot so it can still slide, move it until its short leg meets the line, then lock it. The slot absorbs the difference between holes, so the run comes out straight without redrilling. BINKIN’s galvanized bracket is made in the USA and sold in packs up to 100.
Why a slotted bracket
Every support on the line
Each bracket slides to the laser on its own, so one off hole never bends the run.
Fix the one that is off
Loosen, slide, tighten. The rest of the run never moves.
Made for the van
Small, galvanized and about 40¢ each in the 100 pack. Keep a box on the truck.
How a run goes up
- Set the lineSnap a chalk line or set a laser where the run has to sit.
- Snug each bracketScrew every bracket through its slot, short leg out, loose enough to slide.
- Slide to the lineMove each bracket until its short leg meets the line. The slot gives you nearly 2 inches.
- Lock and fastenTighten the slot screws, then fasten the strap or clamp through each short leg’s hole.

Where it gets used
- EMT conduit runs
- Low-voltage and data cable
- Condensate lines and control wiring
- Service van shelves and bins
- Junction and small device boxes
Light runs and small parts only. For heavy equipment, ductwork or anything overhead and heavy, use strut channel and load-rated hangers made for the job. How much a small bracket holds depends far more on the fasteners and what they go into than on the steel.
Which pack
About 40¢ a bracket. Enough for a long run or a week of service calls.
About 54¢ a bracket, for a single job.
Questions people ask
How do I fasten conduit to the bracket?
Let the bracket set the height and the strap hold the run: fasten a one-hole strap or clamp through the hole in the short leg. Use the strap made for your conduit size.
What screws fit?
BINKIN’s slot and hole are 3/16 inch wide, so they take #8 screws and smaller. Use anchors suited to the wall: masonry anchors on block or concrete, wood screws into studs or framing.
Can they go outside or in a van?
Galvanized steel resists rust, which suits vans, garages and covered outdoor runs. Rust resistant is not rust proof, so somewhere constantly wet or salty will shorten their life.
Are BINKIN brackets made in the USA?
Yes. BINKIN brackets are made in the USA, from galvanized steel.
